Founded in partnership with TAV Airports and Gebr. Heinemann/Unifree in 2000, ATU, the largest duty free operator of Turkey, offers passengers more than 50,000 products of leading world brands at advantageous prices at 83 stores operated at 19 airports in 7 countries. Having approximately 16,000 sqm of duty free retail space, ATU Duty Free, which is amongst the top 15 airport retailers worldwide, offers its passengers a unique shopping experience with its uninterrupted 24/7 service provided by around 2,000 specialized personnel and its customer satisfaction oriented organizational structure. ATU Duty Free, which has headquarters in Istanbul, has operations at Kutaisi Airport in Georgia and Salallah Airport in Oman, other than the operations handled at the airports operated by TAV. The company started to operate new duty free stores at Tunisia-Carthage, Djerba-Zarzis, Sfax–Thyna, Tozeur–Nefta and Tabarka–Ain Draham airports in Tunisia together with the partnership of Gebr. Heinemann and Hamila Duty Free as from November 2014.

BTA

BTA, a subsidiary of TAV Airports, was founded in 1999 and provides food & beverage services at international standards within 13 airports in Turkey, Georgia, Macedonia, Tunisia, Oman, Latvia and Saudi Arabia as well as at Istanbul Sea Buses and also at UNIQ Istanbul, the new culture and art center in Maslak. Providing service for approximately 90,000 passengers a day with approximately 500 chefs at the airports, Istanbul Sea Buses and UNIQ Istanbul, BTA offers a wide range of international menu options. BTA operates brands, of which the concepts are created by BTA or which are managed by BTA as a sub-operation, at 50,000 square meter area at airports, Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) piers, car ferries and passenger ferries and also at UNIQ Istanbul. BTA operates 246 cafes and restaurants at the airports, IDO and UNIQ Istanbul. Founded in 2006 and expanded by an investment of 5 million Euros in 2014 by BTA, the bakery products facility Cakes&Bakes currently supplies bakery products, sandwiches and ready-made meals to world-famous fast food and coffee chains with its 5 million piece capacity a month. Having been operating TAV Airport Hotel located at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, the first airport hotel of Turkey, since 2004, BTA started to operate its second airport hotel at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport in 2014. BTA has been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate for its service quality.

HAVAŞ

Havaş, the long established ground handling services company of Turkey, provides service under the roof of TAV Airports. Having awarded several times by the leading airline companies worldwide, Havaş is the longest established ground handling services company in Turkey. Main activities of Havaş include passenger and luggage handling, ramp, aircraft cleaning, load control and communication, cargo, flight operations, transportation, representation and supervision services. Providing ground handling services at 25 airports in Turkey and 7 in Europe, as well as Madinah Airport in Saudi Arabia, Havaş has an extensive portfolio comprising more than 200 airlines operating scheduled and charter flights. Aiming to provide its customers better, more quality and faster service, Havaş also provides storage services at its 1,500 ton/day capacity warehouse. Since December 2007, Havaş also has been operating Hopa Passenger Terminal, which is a connection point for Batumi Airport. The company also provides transfer and passenger transportation shuttle services which are as comfortable as aircraft, between airports and city centers in 18 cities.

Ankara - Esenboğa Airport

TAV Airports carried its experience in airport operations over to Ankara Esenboğa Airport, the entrance gate to the capital city, in 2006. With its original design concept and a different perspective allowing the passengers easy access, Esenboğa has been a breath of fresh air for transportation to the capital. Equipped with state of the art technology and services at every step throughout the airport--from the moment passengers enter the parking garage until they board their planes, guests meet friendly staff ready to serve them at the highest standards. Uninterrupted service is maintained so that every flight is comfortable and fun, continuing at a dizzying pace all day, every day. Ankara Esenboğa Airport is a strategically important airport serving as the gates of protocol and diplomacy of our country. Aiming to become a hub in the Middle East and North Europe, the airport continues its progress in increasing the number of flights, particularly to international destinations. Keeping all public and private sector enterprises in the city posted about the developments in direct flights, TAV shares the rapid development of the airport with the locals. Arriving to Ankara from 35 locations of Anatolia, passengers can directly fly to 25 destinations in 12 countries from Esenboğa Airport. Ankara Esenboğa Airport provided service to almost 11 million passengers and 82,000 flights in 2014.

Gazipaşa - Alanya Airport

Continuing to pursue its goal of constant development, TAV Airports Holding was awarded the Antalya Gazipasa Airport operation tender held in August 2007. With the contract signed on January 4, 2008, it was leased to TAV Airports for 25 years. Airport construction was completed in 1999, offering a passenger capacity of 500,000 per year, covering 2,144 square meters. TAV Airports Holding aims in operating the Antalya Gazipasa Airport is to utilise its experiences and knowledge in the airport operation business to create and develop boutique airports in Turkey and its target region to create new international flight destinations. In addition, the goal is to make the airport an international centre serving Alanya and its surrounding area by extending the runway.

Milas - Bodrum Airport

Winning the tender regarding the operating rights of the Milas-Bodrum Airport, one of the most significant tourism destinations of Turkey, for 20 years, TAV Airports added Milas-Bodrum to its portfolio. Having undertaken the operation of Milas-Bodrum Airport’s domestic terminal in July 15, 2014, TAV Airports will take over the operation of the international terminal as from the last quarter of 2015. Milas-Bodrum Airport Domestic and International terminals are located on an area of 110,000 sqm. Being one of the most crowded airports of Aegean Region of Turkey, Milas-Bodrum Airport opened to international traffic in 1997. Located within the borders of Muğla province, the airport is located between Milas and Bodrum, two important cities of antique Caria region. Furthermore, it plays a very significant role in the transportation to tourism centers such as Didim, Kuşadası, Söke of Aydın province as well as Muğla. The airport is only 32 km away from Bodrum, 12 km away from Milas and 82 km away from Didim. In 2014, Domestic Terminal provided service to more than 2 million passengers and approximately 16,000 flights.

Istanbul - Atatürk Airport

Izmir - Adnan Menderes Airport

Throughout the ages, Izmir has been one of the most important centers of entertainment and culture, and the International Terminal, which brought fresh life to Izmir’s tourism and trade, and has also carried its relationship with the world to a new level. TAV Airports undertook the operations of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal – sitting on an area of 118,000 square meters - on September 13th, 2006 with an investment of 150 million Euros. TAV Airports has won the tender held by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) at the end of 2011 and got the operating rights of Domestic Terminal on January 2nd, 2012 until the end of 2032. As per the tender specifications, TAV Airports built the new domestic terminal with an investment of 266 million Euros and connected it to the international terminal. Izmir Adnan Menderes Airports is an important link in the select and high quality design chain of TAV Airports. There are flights to 75 destinations in 28 countries through 58 airlines at the international terminal and to 22 destinations with 7 airlines at the domestic terminal of Izmir. Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport welcomed almost 10.9 million passengers in 2014, with an increase of 7 per cent compared to the previous year.
