Civil Aviation Security

Airports are among the most sensitive facilities in all countries, as they are vulnerable to illegal activity of an international scope, and as such, negative actions can have worldwide repercussions. “Civil Aviation Security” has been our company’s field of expertise for many years and comprises many different sub-fields and practices. Operating in accordance with international standards set by the “National Civil Aviation Security Program,” TAV Private Security’s managerial staff combines the expertise gained from the public sector with the advantages of the private sector. The staff of TAV Private Security is made up of qualified personnel including retired employees from security and military service with international experience in the civil sector, and has been trained in international programs regarding civil aviation security while also speaking foreign languages. TAV Security Services has been judged successful in audits carried out by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), the National Civil Aviation General Assembly (MSHGK), and the Board of Experts on Training, Research, and Control (EADUK) since 1999. Managerial staff assigned to airport security--which is directly related to national security--comprises specialists with a high degree of professional expertise, know-how and experience, who contribute to the continuing development of the profession. Passenger and baggage scanning at entrance control points of the terminal (International Lines, Domestic Lines and General Aviation Terminal) and at entrance control points of security areas for passengers are among the services provided at the airport. The employees, who are hired as security officers go through several phases depending on the importance of their positions and assigned according to their level of competence after expert training. We continue working with the employees who have successfully completed an observation period, the duration of which is determined by ourselves and not less than six months after a two month trial period.
